About Me

Aayush is a research Assistant at IIT-Delhi. Aayush is interested in working in Deep learning with application in computer vision domain (more specifically in video analytic and surveillance). Aayush feels that there is wide scope and impact in this domain. Aayush developed my interest in deep learning while pursuing my masters. Aayush is impressed by the impact of deep learning in solving vast problems in various domain and it motivates me to be a part of journey and able to contribute in same. Aayush want to work in a research labs or start my own startup.

We worked on skin segmentation problem from NIR imagaes using unsupervised domain adaptation. We cast skin segmentation problem of target independent unsupervised domain adaptation where we use the data from Red channel of visible range to develop skin segmentation algorithm on NIR images. The paper got accepted by ECCV2020 as spotlight paper

I worked in vision domain with application in video surveillance. I worked on activity recognition using pose estimation framework to detect crawling and crouching near fence area. I also got chance to work on object detection for Egocentric camera(Human vision) and high angle cameras. We used object detection to solve various problems like weapon detection, trespassing, loitering, safety gear detection and retail analysis by co-relating time spend by customer and sales data.
